The research is a contribute to the knowledge about the housing processes in peripherical areas. In the development of the research we consider a generic domain including theorical and conceptual contexts about the urban extension of the city, the centre-periphery dialectics and about models and references interpretations of the growth process of the urban peripheries in the twenty century. We regard also the international architecture and urban design references. In a more detail study we use the case of amadora municipality as a significantly peripherical area of lisbon. The case study of amadora account the importance of urban plan processes in the early sixties in periphery projects. We focus the study in several housing examples in amadora analysing the characteristics an d possibilities of valuation of the urban housing examples had an innovation and improtant place in the identity and centrality dynamics in peripherical city. This more specific issue of the research allows new open perspectives between the developments of the accessibilities and recognise of urbn privacy in the different places in the periphery.
